About Citizenly
Citizenly is a trade name of OverQuo LLC, a New York limited liability company, doing business as Citizenly. Citizenly is a civic advocacy infrastructure platform. It enables approved campaign organizers to create issue-based campaigns and allows New York City residents to send messages to their elected officials. Citizenly does not author, review, endorse, or approve any campaign content or citizen message before it is submitted or sent. Campaigns are subject to our Terms of Service, including platform access and content standards.
Views of organizers
Campaign titles, descriptions, and template messages are written by the organizers who create them. These views are solely those of the individual organizer or organization and do not represent the views of OverQuo LLC, Citizenly, or any other user of the platform. Approval of an organizer account does not constitute endorsement of any specific campaign or position.
Views of citizens
Messages sent to elected officials are authored and submitted by individual citizens. Citizens may edit template messages before sending. The content of any message reflects only the views of the individual who sent it and does not represent the views of OverQuo LLC, Citizenly, the campaign organizer, or any other user.
No endorsement
The presence of a campaign on Citizenly does not constitute an endorsement of the campaign's goals, positions, or associated organization by OverQuo LLC or Citizenly. Citizenly provides infrastructure only.
Official contact information
Email addresses for elected officials and government bodies are sourced exclusively from official government records and publications: the New York City Council website, the New York State Assembly and Senate official websites, NYC Open Data, and official government directories. Citizenly does not solicit, generate, or infer contact information. All addresses are those published by the government bodies themselves for the purpose of constituent communication.
Official contact information changes from time to time due to elections, redistricting, staff transitions, and administrative updates. Citizenly makes reasonable efforts to keep contact records current but does not guarantee that any address is accurate, active, or monitored at the time a message is sent. Citizenly is not responsible for undelivered, misdirected, or unacknowledged messages.
